Awesome work! I especially love all the tiny warnings and mechanical readouts you did on the parts, that is great! Nice weathering as well. I have many (almost all) of the AC Kotobukiya figures, but never got the models. How do you like them?

Thank you for your kind words :)

I'm not sure I understand your question, this is an AC Kotobukiya figure/model kit. Are there any other kind? Kotobukiya is the company that makes this model kit, and I just painted and weathered it prior to assembly. Unpainted, it looks like this: i.imgur.com/ofToHls.jpg

I love AC kits, having completed three of them so far. They're a bit tight on some fits, and other parts are too loose, but nothing that can't be fixed with plastic cement and putty :)

Sorry, there are some figures from Koto that are more like toys (high end action figures) no painting or assembly is required. These came first, before Koto started making model kits that require building.

Good to know on the kit build, I may end up picking some up after all...

Incidentally, why dont you post your digital painting work anymore?

Ah, sorry I didnt know!

As for painting, well... that's because I have not painted for ages. Since 2011 I've moved on to photography, and afterwards painting miniature models. I still paint on rare occasions, but I'm never satisfied with the results. I do have an ongoing project which might see the light of day, eventually....

No worries! Ya, I am similar. As I learn techniques I am constantly unhappy with older drawings and it causes me to never finish anything.

Well I liked your previous works so I hope you decide to return to it one day. =)
